Introduction to supporting members

Thursday 5 June, 11am-2pm

QMUCU is putting on an introduction to casework training for anyone who would like to volunteer to support colleagues facing redundancy and threats to job security. This training will equip you with key knowledge and skills required to accompany members in meetings and to support them in defending themselves. We want to make sure that no one who comes under attack is left to face these circumstances alone. It will be run by case workers who have experience of supporting these cases, you will be given some current context specific to QM, and lunch and refreshments will be provided!
