UCU National Day of Action against Workplace Racism
Wednesday 10th February,  12.30-2.30pm

This event is open to ALL staff, not just UCU members. Bring your colleagues along!

A screening of a new film by UCU, “Witness”, in which members speak out about their experiences of racism in the workplace. We hope this film will stimulate a discussion. The UCU Black Members Survey results will also be presented.

We hope to provide some refreshments. The film will be shown at 1pm. It’s fine to come for all of the 2 hours or just the film and discussion (1-2pm).

Please let us know if you are coming via eventbrite:

Venue Room 209, Engineering Building, Mile End Road.
Enter via People’s Palace (on left of Queens Building as you face it from Mile End Road). Carry on through People’s Palace into Engineering Building. Take stairs or Lift to Second Floor. Stairs are signposted to Room 209. If taking lift, turn left when you exit on Second Floor. Note that Engineering Building entrance on Mile End Road required keycard.

Again, members from the other sites are very welcome. If you would like to host a screening and discussion at your site, and / or would like us to organise one at your site, please send a message to k.price@qmul.ac.uk
